Welcome to the Montrose Area School District. I am proud to represent the numerous hard working and dedicated members of our school community who strive every day to provide a world class educational experience for our students.

Over the past several years, we have worked to develop a robust curriculum that provides students with relevant and challenging learning experiences. It is our intention to meet students where they are and provide opportunities for them to flourish.

To achieve this, it is important to consider teaching as more of an art than a science. I firmly believe that “kids do not care what you know, until they know that you care.” For this reason, I have always believed that our schools and classrooms need to be welcoming, engaging and motivating.

Over the past few years we have made a commitment to this belief by providing professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff that promote this ideal.

Educating a child is a collaborative effort and we hope you will join us in this partnership to help every child reach their full potential.
