Class Description
The English as a Second Language Program is to develop academic literacy and oral skills through a reading, writing, speaking and listening program. The students read, write and discuss the content of their regular education classes. The students are learning language through content. The goal of the program is to help the students develop critical thinking skills as well as written and oral communication skills.
