Directions To Gar
GAR (Wilkes Barre-Township)
- Take 81 South to Exit 165 (old exit 45A) (Blackman St.)
- At the end of the ramp turn right onto 309
- Go past the 1st traffic light about 500 yards
- On your left you will see a big statue of a cow, bear right onto Casey Avenue
- School will be about 100 yards
OR
-Take 29 South to 309 South to the Cross Valley Expressway-Take Exit #2 Center City onto the Martin Luther King Blvd.
-Take a left onto Northampton Street (Mc Donald's & Stop and Go)
-Travel about .5 of a mile under an overpass
-Take 1st right Casey Avenue. Travel to school.
GAR football: Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium
-Rte 29 south to Rte 309 south to Dallas
-Turn left at light on to 309 South
-Take 309 south which becomes Wilkes Barre Expressway
-Take exit 3 (Plains/Wilkes Barre) and turn right on to River Street
-Follow River St. past court house (on right) past Kings & Wilkes University
-Continue on River Street to intersection Hazel and Carey Ave turn right on to Carey Ave
-At Januzzi's pizza (in front of you) bear left on Carey Ave and follow to Meyers High School
-Stadium behind school
Buses: unload at tunnel Carey Avenue and park buses on Hanover Street at the end of high school
